Beauty hacks: Makeup Mistakes you should avoid

Welcome to my blog beauties, on today’s post I’ll be taking you through makeup blunders you need to stop making.

Let’s face it, be it you’re a professional or a beginner we all make few mistakes when it comes to applying makeup. A girl has to do a lot of experiments to get her makeup game rolling.

Read on if you’ve been spending hours struggling in front of the mirror and still not satisfied with your makeup application.

Not blending your makeup properly: A good blend is all it takes to go from zero to one hundred. To avoid blending mistakes, get yourself the right blending tools (brushes and beauty blenders), take your time and create magic.

Over darkening your brows: Eyebrows are very important when it comes to makeup, because they frame up the eyes and show an immediate expression from a glance. Bold eyebrows is the thing in vogue now, but one has to be careful not to overdo things. Start by filling in your brow with gentle strokes and darken as you move outwards to give you a lush and natural looking brow.

Picking the wrong foundation shade– Using the wrong shade of foundation on the skin is one common mistake i’ve noticed people do lately. I know it’s quite difficult choosing the right shade of foundation for your skin tone, but there are ways to go about it; test the foundation of your choice before purchasing it (apply it on your jaw area to see how well it blends) or seek the help of a professional.

What other beauty tips and tricks would you like me to talk about? Let me know in the comments section….. thanks for stopping by 😘
